Officer Liam Copper or better known as Officer Fragment in the Polara Galactic Police, or the PGP, The Nickname was giving to him for the reason that Liam is the only full blooded Human in the PGP. along with Hybrids and different types of Aliens, Liam only brings a fragment of the Human diversity in the PGP dubbing him the nickname.
Liam being human, he sometimes gets looked over a lot in the Polara's, not much people pay him attention or seeing him much as enforcement. Which is a big mistake in any Law breaker could do, Liam is a high rank Officer giving his skilled in his field. A sharp eye making clean shots, plus slick talker when it comes to interrogation, sometimes getting criminals getting to tell on themselves when talking to them. So using the Human thing as a way to make law breakers lower their guard is a good tactic he uses.

However through the years of working for the PGP He started to notice that there was a lot more things going on in the department rather then out side of it. Some Officer's being told to stay quite on current subject or even some getting paid off to turn a blind eye to some crime bosses in different galaxies, which could be easily apprehended in a second. But as it turns out if you have the money not even law enforcement could touch you. Which lead Liam to start taking it upon himself on busting Officers in the works of criminal's, however lead to the PGP to hate him for being a snitch. kicking him out of the PGP for making them look bad and ruined Liam's reputation. But that didn't stop him at all. Liam still did his thing of busting crime lords being coming a vigilantly and bounty hunter which in turn put a bounty on his head by the PGP, through running away and hiding out Liam came across a little abandoned GooMoo (A sime liquid gelatins being that leaves off rock and clay type material.) Liam grew a liking to the GooMoo as they had something in common, no one wanting them. Liam took it as his pet and named it "Gills" So they became partners in taking down some bounties and getting cash for it and running form the lay. Later giving themsleves a name as the "Star Gazers."
