Description
For a while now I've wanted to redesign Wonder Woman in a more super heroic outfit and this was the outcome! I've never really liked Wonder Woman as a character because most comics I read with her were not that great, but I really love her New 52 run! I've never liked her costume either! I just can't really see a woman running around in a bathing suit fighting crime, so I wanted to give her a full body suit! I obviously kept the original colors and for a change I added a background and I really love how it looks so I think I will add more in the future! Hope you likeRelated content

Yay, Wonder Woman in a realistic, non-sexist outfit! Thank you!
Β I hate the ridiculous (and sexist) outfit they always give her, too. Male superheroes get the functional full body suits, but *obviously* the woman gets the bathing suit, the corset with cleavage and often, the high heels. Ugh. Sorry, DC, but that's not a "feminist icon". That's a sexist, double standart view of a superheroine :/

Glad you like! I always try covering up characters more than their comic counter part, it just seems more practical and realistic (I also can't stand high heels! Its probably the most unrealistic thing!)Β

Yep, I agree. Swimsuits and cleavage are all cool to swim or for a party, but certainly not to go fighting/doing superheroine stuff! Also, it's just plain sexist to assume that women warriors/heroines always have to look 'sexy'...although, most of the time,Β they just look ridiculous with that kind of outfits, in my opinion. 'Chainmail bikini + high heeled thigh-length boots + alluring contorted pose' certainly isn't my idea of 'sexy', anyway (and the same goes for a male equivalent).Β
Plus most men get to look realistic AND 'hot' at the same time, and being 'hot' is not their top one priority anyway. Wish superheroines and warrior-women got the same respect more often.
And yes, I also hate high heels, probably the most unrealistic thing, I agree (although cleavaged breastplates and tight corsets are worthy competition!). If stilettos and ridiculously high wedges are already a pain to walk in, imagine fighting in them! And, comic artists and defenders among the fans, don't give me the 'she's a superheroine, of course she's able to fight in wedges' argument. Well, since last I looked, no superhero has to prove his amazing superhuman capabilities by fighting in gravity-defying stilettos! Jeez.
Keep up the great work!

Ha! Spider-Man vs Wonder Woman! That would be interesting although I don't think Spidey has a chance!

Now if only the canon costume was this awesome. Β God, the outcry that emerged when they announced they were giving her a decent pair of pants for the movie.

Me neither. Β Which is why I like to see people design costumes for her more like this.

I will always love a wonder woman with pants! But I miss the large adornment with the WW, or the eagle! I feel the top is a little plain and I do miss the stars.Β
But I love the grieves and arm bands, those look like they can deflect bullets! I also like how the tiara looks like the main part of a spartan helm. It Fits!

i like it a lot. Β it looks good, it's functional, and looks like something a proud woman would wear. Β About the only thing i would add would be stars to the leggings. Β i do like her in the stars. Β

Oh my gosh! LOVELOVELOVE!Β Β Β I have always hated Wonder Woman's outfit and much prefer her redesign with pants, as seen here:Β jimsmash.blogspot.com/2011/03/β¦ The Jim Lee redesign not the tweaked version.
