Ice contains trace elements: Just as tree trunks are made of waste-carbon from the air, her dress is made from the elements in the water that she made the ice from... is how I think of it

This is one of those cases where it's best not to think about it too much.

Heh, Emperor's New Groove reference. And this always bothered me as well. She has ice power! How does that make clothes exactly?

Add the fact that she somehow could phase her hair through her arm that one time.

I'm still wondering how she could make a spring-themed dress in "Frozen Fever". I guess she can manipulate molecules?

Well you see....ice clothing, the ice molecules go into the silk thing and BAM! Icey clothes! SCIENCE!Β

This actually reminds me ofΒ a fanfiction I read a little while back. Kristoff asks that question andΒ Elsa says, "Well, Kristoff,Β it's very simple. I...I haveΒ noΒ idea how it works." Β

It's made of ice silk, you know, slightly frozen water?

what if the original dress was FROZEN and shattered or the ice somehow recolored it and spread out the strands of cloth to give off the effect of snowflakes...idk idcam

I read a fanfic recently where she makes clothes for someone else, literally weaving it on them like she does in the movie -- and, like, three seconds later they were very quickly removing all the clothes in front of everyone and hiding behind a bush, then explaining "It was either protecting my modesty or dying of frostbite" XD

That's only FanFiction. Not official Disney canon.

It's "The Queen's Admiral" by secretcastle As far as I know, you can find it on Fanfiction.net and Wattpad, but I'm pretty sure it's elsewhere too.
Here is the link for FFnet: www.fanfiction.net/s/10229888/β¦

There is a theory proposed on fanfiction.net called The Elementals by A. J. F. Link. It gives a theoretical and hypothetical explanation as to how Elsa's attire can be constructed out of ice or, more accurately, the element of ice. However, the wording is very technical for something on fanfiction.net
