When I finished reading the first book, I consoled myself by rationalizing that we never saw the body, hence they could have cloned her. (I'm a big fan of clone stories.) So I was pretty happy when that turned out to be the case.

Seriously though. I'm not usually one for zombie stories, at all. But I knew Mira Grant as previously published Seanan McGuire so I gave it a chance. Now I can't read the sequel because that ending is one of the most heartbreaking I have ever read. Traumatized by character-grief I may be, but this book deserves great fanart, and you have given it.
