The idea is that all of Skitzo's cartoon shorts from the 1920's have been destroyed from history because they caused insanity and other mental problems in viewers. But somehow tiny bits of his shorts are recovered at times and full version episodes are almost non-existent. We only find the scraps...

every time Skitzo transitions into feeling homicidal i notice he frowns right before he changes. does that mean he is a good person on the inside or doesn't like it? (or something in that range?)

Yeah I like to think there's something inherently wrong in his mind, but I don't think it means he's a good person when he frowns...its more like twisted and DOUBLE twisted and possibly evil all wanting the same space at once, hence his body reacts with facial expressions of displeasure from the mental pains. But I think by the grin hes enjoying something in it all too haha

It's amazing that you were able to create something that elicits a sense of nostalgia and horror at the same time. I'd be interested in knowing how you were able to create that spooky music/burning film effect whenever Skitzo would kill his victims.

Hey thanks a lot for watching my cartoon! Yeah the effects were a lot of experiments in flash with layers of colors and basically frame by frame animating the look of film decay with the shades and animating moving specks and rips into the cartoon. The music is really old 1910s-1920s music from the era that is now copyright free. So I went and modified them to distort the melody and added in new sounds and stuff to make the cracking decay you hear in the final thing.

You're welcome. That's quite impressive. It gives your animated cartoons an air of authenticity, like that of old animated cartoon shorts of that time period. Also, the backstories that you wrote regarding those cartoons makes it sound even more plausible, in terms of the possibility of there being something like that maybe hidden away somewhere, where someone just so happens to stumble onto it.ย

I literally just binge-watched more of your shorts! In fact, my computer even started to overheat and caused Flash to skip and stutter (made the experience even more... insanity-inducing!), so I had to see some on YouTube instead!ย

I love how the soundtrack gradually gets all slow and demonic and then just cuts off as skitzo grabs that poor dog's face. It gave me chills.
