My sister wanted to make an offering to the Webcomic Gods, and she decided that my wrist was a suitable sacrifice
Just kidding, just kidding! It's the (long-awaited) spash page* of my sister's Ginga doujinshi "Summer Fangs"!
Nevertheless, this gave me a good color workout, specifically color temperature and atmospheric perspective.
Neko! Why did you choose so many BLACK dogs?!!

I'd been coloring the pages with marker up until now, but it was decided that this one would be done digitally. This was colored in Corel Painter 11. Do tell me what you think!

The brown legs on the far right isn't anyone's character, just a random filler.

No, I don't have one. Ginga is more my sister's thing, I'm not really a fan. 
But if I did have a Ginga character, it would totally be one of these guys ! (They're native to Japan. And really, really big )

Fantastic coloring, on the background and the characters, i'm amazed how well you did all those black coats, with varying lights and shades depending on the character and the coat length!

First of all, I want to hardly HIT you for stealing my Kinzou-sama wallpaper! After seeing this piece I just must have it as my wallpaper!
Second: Just how the heck did you done that!? Even if it's done in Corel Painter, it looks just like you'd done it with markers! Sensei, teach us! 
I just love how you colored the dogs, but that background just steals all the attention...and after a long time of looking at it you return to looking at dogs, and then to the background... And you can look at for hours!
Third: Your wrist? A suitable sacrifice? Don't joke, Comix, everyone knows your wrist is equal to 1.000 sacrifices! Webcomic Gods, now give Comix an inspirations! She gave too much for yer sacrifices!
