There's a long story behind the necklace of which I wear. This is just some of it.

When I first became commander, I found the job quite easy. Paperwork up to scratch, team members all doing their duties etc. But as the team grew, my worries and fears of double angents and traitors increased, until I was at the point of a breakdown of paranoia.

Cannonball had an idea. Without me knowing, he had Skartplug craft me a necklace out of refined energon. When it was complete, he got each and every one of the crew to place a small fragment of their sparks into the necklace, resulting in forming a bond between each member and the yin yang.

We are one, brought together into the necklace. Everytime a new member joins, their spark is added, welcoming them to the team.

The necklace keeps me going, always reminding me that they're there for me... It's the light of the Freelancers. The Freelancer Matrix.
