Description
Analysts have confirmed the Luminaire VII Titan's impact point. It appears to have crashed near a mountain range, and the smoldering wreck can be seen from space. Luckily, it missed the nearby city!---
Increased my settings for this one.

At approximately 1800 on 22-MAR-13, the Caldari Leviathan over Luminaire VII was destroyed by the Federation Navy in a massive attack.
And I was right in the middle of the madness!

Yes, EVE players rose up to defend and attack the Titan. Caldari were vastly outnumbered in both player commitments and capital ships.
Not sure about orbital support for DUST. Communication was lost with the planet several times.
There's a big controversy about whether or not the Titan loss was scripted. I say 'who cares?' because I had fun, and I came out alive!

Wow, they really model it to that detail, where the things have impact points and planets have actual geography?

Partially. The news article states it crashed at the base of a mountain range.
