Last call happened about 2 hours ago. The bustling and cheering of the other patrons slowly dissipated with the passing minutes, and now there were only 4 voices in the warm bar. The occasional warning from the manager could also be heard every now and then, but they were able to extend their time thanks to the boys’ pleads (and sometimes bargains).

The giggles that came from the girls’ mouths sounded like chiming bells, often interrupted by small talk and their companions’ nudges.

“One more round for us beautiful girls, please!” The twin-tailed girl patted at the counter, leaning forward and looking at the bartender. He would have usually kicked anyone else out at last call, but these people were good company. He smiled and walked over towards them, placing another tall glass in front of each girl.

Alba swiped one of her twin-tails back over her shoulder, and sat up straight. “Rina… you are definitely fun to drink with, do you know that?” She was holding her glass while the bespectacled girl was barely reaching out to grab hers, blushing.

“Am I? Hehehe… I’m glad!” Rina pressed her cheek against her glass, nuzzling it. “I have to say I’m not used to drinking, but it makes me happy to know that!” She tried to ignore Shinjiro’s constant shoulder taps, Alba did the same with Firo. Right now, she was truly enjoying her time with her friend.

“Rina, come on… it’s already pretty late, and you’re not used to drinking so much of this kind of stuff, you know? You might get sick...,” Shinji said with a worried voice. He might be tough and scary, but deep inside he is a softy towards the people he holds dear to him.

Rina casually waved her hand, her glasses sliding down her nose a bit. “It’s fiiiine, Shinji~ see? You’re here to take care of me either way, riiiight?” More giggles from the girls.

“Alright!” Alba suddenly spoke up, startling Firo a bit. She raised her glass up in the air, and Rina did the same, unsure what that was for. “Lets us make a toast….” She remained quiet, spacing out and staring at nothing in particular.

“A toast for…?” Firo was drinking any leftover alcohol Alba would leave unintentionally in her past glasses. “You’re supposed to say wha-,” He was interrupted with his girl’s voice.

“For drinking with friends!” Alba cheered.

“For good times like these!” Rina chimed in.

“For our handsome men~!” Both of them giggled uncontrollably, Firo had a slight blush to his face now. With that, both girls started to drink… and drink… and drink until their glasses were empty.

“Fuaaahh! That was fun!” Rina accidentally let go of her glass a bit earlier than she would have liked, making it fall and roll around on the counter. “Oops~”

"Enough already, you can have more fun at home…,” Shinji muttered, trying to grab her arm. She was quick enough to slip away from his grip and hooked her own arm around his.

“Shinji, baby, I know we’re gonna have a lot more fun later on, hehehehe…!” Her response made him blush a lot. He was not used to hearing Rina be so forward, and she rarely called him ‘baby’ or anything like that.

This made Alba laugh. Firo shook his head and laughed as he was about to drink what she had just left in her glass, but he was interrupted by her hand pushing against his cheek. “Aren’t boys so adorable when they blush like that? Hey, Firo,” she turned to look at him, a sly hint in her eyes and smirk. “We’ll have some fun too, right?”

He tried really hard not to blush, but her cute face and provocative statement proved too hard to ignore. Firo looked away, trying to hide his red cheeks. “Wh-what are you saying….?”

The two girls decided that they had had enough for tonight, and they finally stood up. Wobbly and dizzy, but they managed (it was really with Shinji’s and Firo’s help that they could even walk outside). They went to the parking lot, and after a brief conversation the two couples parted ways on that chilly night.
