I used photoshop to draw it all man. Although a few people have said some of my portrait pieces look drawn naturally on paper! I basically have the ref photo side by side with my canvas in photoshop and draw it using my tablet But you could use tip ex for the white dots if using traditional methods, sounds like a good idea to me

wow , you never know these days whats real and whats not. I always thought though if you draw on photoshop, could you not just draw over an image kind of like a hand made filter. Did you use pencil style brushes? Doesnt have that blurry effect most digital paintings have. Good job!

True. You do get lots of help with photoshop's tools. Some people do just trace over a picture but I use grids to help get the lineart right but after that I just mainly use the paint brush tool on a low opacity and basically just build up the shadows then switch over to white and build up the highlights.

This looks really good. He definitely has more texture. I guess you can't really help it with the megan fox one since all the reference photographs are photoshoped to be that way. Really nice on the details like the teeth.. the eyes.. the hair.. the.. well everything.
