Applejack - Middle Stage
I arrived at Sweet Apple Acres approximately 34 hours after Applejack first declined our help. She tried to assure us that she had things handled, but after shooing us away, I couldn't accept that. She had done so in the past, like during the apple harvest where she exhausted herself, but I thought she learned from that. The more I thought about it, the more it didn't sit right with me. Why would she decline help when Big Mac was injured so greatly?

When I arrived back at Sweet Apple Acres, the place looked like a guard camp. There were barricades everywhere, even some traps here and there, but I managed to avoid them. Upon reaching the front door, there was no response at first. I knocked again, calling out for her. I heard Applejack yelling for me to leave right then, but I wasn't going to. I yelled back that I was here to help, and then I heard clamoring from inside. She opened the top of the door, and before I could really react, the tip of a shovel slashed my face. I stammered back, and Applejack followed outside. I asked her why... but I could see her crazed eyes, and dark spots on her coat. She yelled back, saying that I "had the eyes". I tried to reason with her, my lack of sleep may have been showing on my face, but I wasn't infected. It was no use, as she thrusted the shovel towards me again, now slashing my shoulder and wing. Out of options, I grabbed her with my magic, pinning her to the ground before she could strike again. She was hard to subdue.. but I managed.

I tried to minimize contact with her, but still, as my friend, I tired to reason with her still. She was still in there, I knew it, she was just trying to protect her family. But I couldn't get through to her. Not yet. With the help of Starlight, we created a few holding cells in the castles basement. Applejack now resides there. Big Mac is now in the hospital, which he needed, after I made sure he had no signs of the infection. I'm going to work with Starlight to help Applejack... and help everypony.

A few ponies have gone missing. Even more cases of the disease are being reported. I need to help everypony. I need to save everypony. They rely on me. They need me.

Rainbow Dash - Late Stage
A report came in saying there was a sighting of Rainbow Dash near the Cloudsdale weather factory. A few ponies were able to get close, but weren't able to catch her. They noted her dulled colors, dark splotches on her flanks, pitch-black eyes... and blood on her hooves. I'm working with Starlight to create a system that warns ponies of those infected.. that can hopefully lead to their capture.

I have tried to track them down myself.. but there's just too much happening all too quickly. My spells don't work on them. At least, not yet. I need to keep trying.

Muffins - Middle Stage
I personally knew how dangerous Muffins could be when delivering packages, and accidents happening around her weren't out of the ordinary. I didn't catch the increase of accidents until somepony had died from one of them.

I intercepted her mid-delivery, as she had been working non-stop, and the package she had disturbed me greatly. I have no idea the purpose of it, nor where it originated, but it was clear Muffins was infected. She's now confined in the basement. We've created more holding cells down there.

I have also hired guards to surveil Ponyville, and report to me any worrying behavior.

Cheerilee - Middle Stage
Cheerilee snapped at Diamond Tiara one day during class. Her being frustrated one time wasn't something to worry much about. I was too naïve.
We found the remains of the filly in Cheerilee's garden by the time I felt something was wrong. Cheerilee is now in the dungeons.

We've recruited more ponies and guards to increase surveillance, and upped scrutiny.

Lyra Heartstrings - Early Stage
A report had gotten to me about Lyra, she had been going on about conspiracies and things that made no sense. I brought her in myself, despite the protest from Bon Bon.

I've entrusted Starlight to keep track of them, along with some guards when I'm not able to.

I've been working with the infected. I tried to reason with them, especially Applejack, but it's not working. I can see their conditions rapidly getting worse, and it devastates me to see what they've become, and that I can't help them. It's worse every time I hear I've lost another one of my ponies, innocent ponies, to the hooves of this disease. I need to do something.

Just as a note, Derpy's "infected" version is very much inspired by Derpy in eerieverse by xcloudcuckoolanderx !
Cheerilee's is obvious, and Lyra's is particularly "The Visiting Hour ", though most of the fandom characterizes her in a similar way.
