Description Staring into the pale yellow sky
through bushes settled on stilts
I reflect on a narration I read before...

Can such an innocent backdrop
bring doubt and fear with a single drop?
Her thoughts unexpected
One moment bringing stringy anchors afloat
Another singing a lullaby
Assumptions say it's a response
For our clumsy escapades
We try to stroke her hair lovingly
But it is obvious, a futile attempt
to let her know we still care
She knows we caused her grave injuries
She merely tries to heal, balance herself
Telling us that she forgives us
But we understood otherwise

Mother Nature gave us everything we need to survive, but we just spit in her face and said "FUCK YOU WE'RE SMART ENOUGH TO LIVE".

...Well, we're feeling the consequences now.

it's not a consequence, we just understood otherwise

why do you think all these disasters happen without the world stopping from revolving or crack open to eat us?

balance is needed. global warming needs a reciprocal

ok that didn't sound quite right

The imagery of how we treat mother nature is nice it shows the insensitivity of the human race and how we take her for granted. but i can't understand the line "Can such an innocent backdrop
bring doubt and fear with a single drop?" ^^ can you enlighten me?
