Nice image I always wanted a redspec wet shader you put it to good use. must have a powerful rig for that many s/p that fast, woosh!!

Thanks!

Yeah it took quite awhile to get the shader to look kinda like what I wanted. As for my system, it's getting a little date now. Here are my specs for it: i7 (6 core/12 threads), 24 GB, 2 x GTX 670 SuperClocked 4096MB GDDR5

For the Octane renderer, the power is in the GPU. There are far better cards out now. Saving my pennies for an newer model, soon I hope.

Wow i have the same exact cards (2)670s FTWs 4gb maybe you really superclocked yours or something thanks for the info

Here are the specs on my two cards:

EVGA GeForce GTX 670 SuperClocked 4096MB GDDR5, 2x Dual-Link DVI, HDMI, DP, 4-Way SLI Ready Graphics Card (04G-P4-2673-KR)

Base Clock: 967MHz
Boost Clock: 1046MHz
Memory Clock: 6008MHz
Cuda Cores: 1344

So I'm guessing they're overclocked when I bought them...I didn't do anything but install them. But by comparison, here is a GTX Titan:

Base Clock: 876 MHz
Boost Clock: 928 MHz
Memory Clock: 6008 MHz Effective
CUDA Cores: 2688

We win! ...even tho we need two cards vs. only one.

Cheers my friend!!

It was hovering around 2 if I remember correctly...maybe a little less than that.

This is looking very good man.  When designing the wet version of redspec TGX, the main idea was to have a 1 click solution on any character and have as many customizable options as possible. Using the wet maps that one can buy, you can get good results by using it under the glossy and specular bumps nodes. yet the problem comes in, that with every character you start you have to go through every node tree and set them manually, because when you save it as a poc it does not get carried over when you retain existing image maps.also getting the look right each time lends to some fine tuning and technique. and this is where we had to get a different approach. Since Redspec TGX WET is still beta, we will be creating versions that has the look of running water ect. keep up the good work man.

Thanks!

I agree with you over the advantage of being able to use RS TGX Wet on any character!!!Mine is kinda specific to a particular material...so in the end, your's will be far superior.

I think the problem I have your your beta at the moment, is not enough of the underlying texture is showing thru the 'wetness'. It's too...um, white, not enough refraction I think, or maybe mix the base texture differently with the wet.

Fix that and you'll rule the universe!

The old V4 HiRes Wetmaps are still the best ones ever made, and you put them to great use here. That pussy also looks fantastic. Is this a V4 with Lali's bits?

You're right!

But as the wet effect is direct on the diffuse texture, it makes it impossible to use with the same great wet effect for any other skin texture, what I regret.
I worked on my own wet skin effect with Octane, but it's very light-dependant.
