The severity of the situation was obvious.
Without abilities to reverse time, it was inevitable.

Both sides sat shell shocked, frozen while colliding staring blankly up the hill. Standing out from the white and grey background the figure stood stiffly looking over the scene with a stone cold gaze. Little amount of fear was present in either side, unable to comprehend the mere fact none of them would leave the battlefield.

It was set in stone now.

The still silent moment barely lasted a second was quickly replaced by inhuman shrills of helpless men being mercilessly slaughtered in violent succession. There was no cause, no justice, no taking of sides; just sadistic carnage overall. The figure made quick work, the air surrounding them occupied with the furry of an unstoppable blade stained dark crimson. The howling wind accompanied them stopping their victims in their tracks with sheer force.

“MOVE!” Someone shouted, roughly shoving another towards the vehicles. They were far enough away, all the way back at their side, there was no way they could NOT escape. Epay stumbled over his feet, sprawling out behind the table in an attempt to run. Everything was numb, his blood had gone cold. There was no surviving this. “GET UP!!!” Gerard shrieked at him, trying to haul Epay to his bumbling feet.

It was no use.

Nearly appearing on the table with such speed it toppled it over as they moved; the figure dove off as their blade made quick work of Gerard. Epay laid motionless, unable to move or feel any part of his body as he watched the figure stand.

‘Get out of this while you can boy, you’re dealing with people messing with a force that should never be touched. If you go out on the field today you are never coming back. Both sides have disrupted something that loathes the human species with a passion, and it will rid itself of its problems. You’ve unleashed death on yourselves, and it will kill all those it believes deserves death.’

I had a dream last night, heavily inspired by this in a way [link] The only way I can explain it is that I was capable of doing things that if I could do in real life, it would turn me into the largest mass murder on the planet. I basically was a bringer of death, killing anyone and everyone I thought deserved to die. Someone was starting up some huge battle, almost no casualties were taken until I arrived and slaughtered everyone, well except this guy here named Epay. Besides that though, I got out farther than I should have, trying to catch some of the last runners, and I ended up into an area where my friends lived, as well as almost all the kids from my grade and killed everyone, my friends included. I never spoke except one time that Epay caught up to me and told me to stop I told him if he didn't take me letting him live as favor enough I'd kill him as well. When he asked why I let him live, I just killed someone else right in front of him as an answer. I don't know why I let him live
