Description This is my first attempt at an emote of any type. I thought I should just dive in at the deep end and try an animation.

I will be making more as I want to try all types of art that interest me and emotes/animated emotes interest me a fair bit I really enjoyed doing this.

I know the animation isn't great but hey I'm trying and that for me is a big step

(the eyes were moving originaly but it lmade it look glitchy)

For a first Emote I have to say this is really really good. The animation is smooth, the pixeling is decent and I really can't see that much that needs improving.

The one thing that you could maybe experiment with is the shading. You've got the idea of it right, and it looks good, but I think it'd look even better if the shading was made more '3D', so to speak. To do that you only really need to add a red outline to the emote, but make sure that it's dark enough so you can see that it's an outline, people sometimes mess up a little at that point and make the colour too similar to the shading itself, which usually causes the whole thing to look a bit awkward.

Adding a small light line under the eyes and mouth is also a really useful way to help make the emote look even better, and changing the facial features to the same shade of red you used on the outline would really pull the whole thing together neatly.

But other than that there's really nothing more that I can see wrong with this emote, so well done! I really look forward to seeing more.

Thank you so much for the great critique, I realised I shoukd have done the outline in dark red, but by the time I'd realised I was finished, so thought nevermind I will do t next time but I didn't think about the mouth

No worries, like I say, there really wasn't that much about it that I could see needed improving or changed.

Yeah, I think that if you're going to say anything constructive, then the art needs a bit of praise too, y'know?

I do love the red smiley with expression of gesture & who took his hat off as howdy.
It seems to be another version or remake of this --> Sweet!

hehe thank you

It wasn't intentionally a remake of any other emote I just decided that would be a fun one to do
