What was the moment or situation that inspired you to cosplay?
- The first cosplay I did at a commercial photo shoot. For my birthday I was presented with a certificate for a photographer, but I did not want to spend it on a classic portrait shooting. I had to collect a suit and find the props. Cosplay is always inspired by characters of strong, erudite women. It all started with Lara Croft. I try to make images for contests or festivals, it’s good when there are exact timelines.
What have you been up to since last featured on
CONNECTED?
- I got a lot of projects with cosplay and FXmakeup. I updated my favorite Maleficent and was the official Disney cosplayer at ComicCon Russia 2019. I made images of the Zombie Joker, the Terminator T800, the Cat woman and several original characters on the motives of medieval mythology.
What’s the funniest thing you have seen at a CON?
- At ComicCon in Moscow there were absolutely charming Flintstones who grimaced very funny. And I climbed in the form of Maleficent on the wall of a climbing wall. It was one of the amusement stands. It was fun for me and the people around me. Many of them shot on the phone.
What cosplay shoots are you planning for the future?
- I want to make a great photoset with Batman comic book characters. I want to shoot in the image of Martisha and collect a couple of characters from the Adams family. I also plan to collect a new Lara Croft from the last game and make the Blood Elf from Warcraft.
If you had to cosplay a historical figure who would it be and why?
- I think I will choose the image of Cleopatra. This person has a depth and the visual culture of ancient Egypt is also very attractive.
What is the last movie you seen and did you like it?
- Of the last good films, there were Avengers, It2, Ready or Not. From the series I really like Strange Things and The Mandalorian.
