This is a portrait of my cat Lucy who died last summer. It was my personal way of dealing with her death, just had to do something to remember her. Just sitting there drawing.Gave the original to my mom as a christmas present.
I did this with a very fine pilot-ballpoint on paper.

I have a rescue kitty that looks like her named Mittens (because of the white paws) but my cat has only one eye.
They find their way into our hearts and we love and love until we can't anymore.

I too lost a cat, several years ago now, and I know the feelings that you must have felt then, that cat was, to me, one of the highlights of my home, and from the detail of your image, I can Imagine the time that sunk into this form of mourning for a member of your personal family whom you loved.

Very nice. It's a ceremonious portrait with a mourning edge. The many black lines make her look strict but the skin is very soft. There is one strange thing in this drawing. That is about her balance. Perhaps more of her pelvis and bottom should be visible on your drawing.
