So I’ve drawn her before, and that was when I didn’t have much experience with my new iPad. Soooo now that i habe a better understanding of Procreate and the tools, I figured i would try to do better than the first time I drew her! I think it’s quite an improvement considering the shading :0Related content

How beautiful!! You put so much detail into this and it shows off really nicely~!! The vignette is working well here, too. And that's really cool that you did this all on an iPad, I'm still drawing entirely on my computer, so I don't know how you all do it c:

Aaaah thank you! Yeah computers are hard to do art on, but holy crap your stuff is amazing! I could never do this kind of stuff on my computer- but then again I didn’t really know how to Shade or Highlight yknow.

Ah thank you so much! c: I think the shading and highlighting looks lovely in this piece, if anything you're concerned about I'd say just drop one or two big "spotlight" shadows or highlights to make the rest pop! Like in my Tsunami piece, I dropped a hue shadow under her wing fold, and on the ground below her, to help the rest stand out. I think your soft shading/highlighting is beautiful as is, it just needs that extra layer of a larger shadow to hint at lighting direction and give the body that depth! c:
