I actually really like this portrait. The colors fit perfectly together, I especially like the reds in the hair, it matches good with the other colors in the photo.
The expression is nice and strong, too.

Maybe one point which can be done better:
I see two different patterns in his clothes, that looks a bit messy.

It was sooo cold out. We had red and runny noses when we were done!
