Description
Commission forFor a horse named Can Ka No Rey
The idea is from the Dark Tower series. Even though I haven't read them, she helped out by describing it. XD
"Can Ka No Rey is the field of roses where the dark tower is, but the roses look as if the peddles are made of blood, and in the middle of the field is the dark tower, which is what is causing the world to end."
I kinda stopped halfway through making this because I felt like I wanted to start over. However, it ended up working out. Just had to get my mind in the right place.

I LOVE this series. lol. The very moment I saw the Dark Tower and the rose field I started freaking out.
I would highly recommend you pick them up. That series... it changed my life.lol. I think the Dark Tower is actually causing the world to fall apart and fracture because of the Red King that has taken up residence there. The twelve beams holding up the earth are what are failing by the hands of evil beings from a parallel universe.
Awesome job by the way. I love it.

so i herd u liek Dark Towers? lol.
I love these books. I'm still trying to figure out the ending almost 7 months after I finished Book 7...
I'm actually re-writing them (only important events) from what would change by the ending. And Flagg's death/the Crimson King's final battle, because those were dumb anyways.

I know! I wanted to cry so hard. The ending was... so sad. And omg...
***SPOILER! DONT READ PAST THIS, dear Convulsion***
When Eddie died, I cried. Legit cried.
Tht's really cool. Yeah, the final battle with the Crimson King was really wierd. In fact, it just sort of got very strange after meeting up with Lippy the horse.

I probably should of put a spoiler alert for my post above...
*SPOILER ALERT********************
I felt sad throught the last book. Eddie/Cuthbert was my second favorite charater after Roland. When Roland reached the Tower, I got chills. I felt like I was there, and I could even smell the roses, it was that awesome. I have no sense of smell, which made it even cooler.
Mr. King is making an eighth Tower book, but it is not after the ending of the seventh book, it has other characters besides our ka-tet in there. That's all I know about it.
Did you check out Discordia on Mr. King's website? It tells the story of the Tet Corp.'struggle against Sombra and North Central Positronics. Its pretty cool.

lol right.
**********The spoilers continue ******
I got the chills too! Especially when the Red King was howling from the Tower. Gah, it's been at least four years since I read those. I loved Oi and Jake alot, especially when Jake was still in his world and kept opening doors. What he wrote for his English class about the Tower was amazing. You can't smell??
Is he really? Huh... I am not sure if I like that or not.
I haven't! I will had to do that now. I know in one of his anthologies, Everything's Eventual, he had a short story of Roland before he caught up with the Man in Black. It was really, really good - it's the same anthology with Room 1408 in it.

I read "Little Sisters Of Eluria" and thought that was cool. To add another thing on your list to read, Marvel Comics is making a Dark Tower series, following the adventures of Roland in Hambry, through the fall of Gilead. They have confirmed a series on Roland's early adventures for the Man in Black as well.
The reason I can't smell is from a complication I had with an operation when I was like 6.
I just hope they don't make a movie like they have planed, as that might kill the series.
I didn't really like the Crimson King battle, as he is supposed to be super powerful and destructive, and he didn't even use his abilities. I know the restoration of the Beams and the destruction of his Forge weakened him, but still.

It was really, really good. I have two of the books starting with Roland and Susanna. It had Cuthbert and Alain in it too. Are those what you are talking about? Oooh... I cannot wait. The art in those is amazing.
Aw, I'm sorry.
Argh, I know. I cannot see any actor as playing a decent Roland except perhaps the man who played James Bond in the most recent movie, Casino Royale. But I do not think anyone could capture that series right.
I found that strange too. It seemed that after the entire fight with the worm-creature (cannot remember names) where Lippy was, it sort of just... faded out in intensity.

You don't need to be sorry, I can't miss what I never really had, right?
I like the art in the comic series, but I don't like how they drew Marten and Cuthbert, as they look alot different then I saw them, but that's just me.
I agree with you on the whole Dandelo thing. I also think its funny that everyone thought that Dandelo was Pennywise the Clown from It for a while.
