Can you help my on something? I cannot figure out how to do a mane and tail.... How exactly would you?

There are two ways to do a mane/tail. Do you have a tablet? If so, I would say the best way would be digitally painting one on. If not, I would suggest working on smudging.

Well, I use a tablet, and I do smudge the tails, but I don't really want to do it that way, how would you paint one on?

I saw this one on the person who bought it's page (leaving out names in case they'd prefer not to be mentioned). It is possibly the most beautiful layout I have ever seen, inspiring beautiful. Ah- how I wish I had the virtual money for something like this

I tried to do the same type of fin as on his ear but I never corrected it. But, thanks!

I started with the face which it why it is the neatest. I tried making a brush for it but it looked bad. So, yea... it took forever. I was getting irritated.

oh wow, con. it took me some time to find this: my internet's been crazy and i have over 850 deviations in my alert box to sort through, but god, i'm glad i saw it. it's so beautiful. i love the mane and tail, and the starfish, and the trees in the background overcome by waves. you manage to pack so much detail into these things...i'm awed.

Aw, thank you so much! I am glad you caught onto the fact the waves were washing over them. I am not sure if everyone caught that. I was going to do more detail on it but it was way too much.

ahem. it was the second thing i noticed other than FISHIE!horse. it truly is a gorgeous manipulation, and i'm sure if i looked a little harder i'd find a few more surprise details.
