Description
this is the first time that I attempt with the low poly. I find it really adorable! I will try in the future to go into more this nicerepresentative way.

Wow. This is a beautiful low poly picture. I love the letter like crumple effect that weathers the image.Β

I love this. I have just started doing 3d art and I started with low poly to get use to the program I use. May I ask what you use to put the watermark on your work?

Thanks! The watermark is an option of DA. You can find it while uploading (or edit) art. There is a checkbox

Do you render from scratch or is it photo manipulation?

It's like a mix of low poly and miniature photography. The effect is absolutely adorable!

Really cool, the z-depth blur and noisy textures are all done inside the software itself? Because if you say yes, then you've got an amazing animation aesthetics to experiment with, I guess the pond is even more amazing as an animation scenario.

the only think i made external is the line-grungy-texture that divide the page in 2. The rest is made with c4d. But the polygons are really messy! And the workflow too!
Anyway thank you!

Well it might be messy, but you've got the right notions on photography, composition etc. to achieve a nice looking result. If you decide to apply it, maybe it can be more planned beforehand, but the potential already shows in this. It's low-poly, which is great for rendering, and it looks nice, because of the way you stylized it. Best of both worlds.

nice lowpoly... but the lighting is really awesome how did you light the scene?

thanks, in c4d i used a 'physical sky' and plaiyed around with 'time and location' (13.00h, may, in Italy). In the 'sun' panel i rise the
Β intensity to 200 and the saturation correction to 200 and cheked the 'use warm colors' box. I turned off the turbidity and low the ozon's value. I set the shadows color to dark blue.
In the render options i used an AO and a GI...and i was lucky! My workflow was quite messy, so i plaiyed a lot around before have something nice!
Anyway i really love your works! You are very good at c4d!

I love it! Would you mind making a tutorial out of this? I would like to see and learn how you made it it and how you got this adorable looking effect over it.

thank you! i'm pretty newbie of c4d and i was messing around without a propely workflow. One of the secret for 'easy' lowpoly is deleting the 'phong' tag near the object, give a 'polygon reduction' and messing around with the faces. On top of that a nice 'physical sky' and some DoF. I will do other lowpoly in the near future and maybe i will try to make a tut

I've only some experience in 3Ds Max, but I'm really into low-poly modeling!
Badly I don't know what you mean with 'phong' and 'DoF', but maybe I will find out somehow by trying it. x)
Thanks for replying and hopefully you will make some tuts. If so - please tell me! And if there are some recommendable tuts or any kind of advice it would be helpful.

I will try as soon as possible. at first I have to finish some projects for my studies.
certainly I would want to model with blender. 3ds max would kill my nerves... ^^Β°
