Noel squeezed into her buckskin-colored show chaps and frowned - these things fit like a glove last season. Perhaps the winter spent at home had packed a few pounds onto her slender frame. Banishing the thought from her mind, she swung a leg over Saint and settled deeply into the worn old western seat.

"This will be a cinch," she assured the young stallion beneath her, who puffed a sigh in response. It was true, though. Saint was so easy going, and had such smooth gaits, he was truly a pleasure to ride!
