I put a lot of thought into my selections, because I respect many of the artists here on DA, and I wanted to choose just the right ones. I hope anyone who views this will take the time to check out their galleries.

Artist I like for their style:

Their style is very distinct and consistent. I love the macabre feel, and took a lot of inspiration from MirrorCradle when working on some of my darker pieces.

Artist I like for their digital paintings:

Her portraits are skillfully executed, and I appreciate the use of vertical compositions. Also, I can't tell you how in love I am with "Glow": [link]

Artist I like for their traditional paintings:

There's a quality to his paintings that I find very appealing.

Artist I like for the feeling in their pictures:

All her pieces are very flowing and soft - very feminine. Oh, and btw, she's only 18!

Artist I like for their creativity:

I tried to keep away from selecting any of the super popular deviants, but I just had to pick Endling for this one. I love Ree and Lilith, and the story behind them.

Artist I like for their kindness:

Now, I've been following her art for quite awhile now, which is quite excellent, but it wasn't until recently that I found out how great she is as a person. Myself and some others wanted to participate in her tutoring sessions, but were somewhat lacking in funds. So, Toerning set up an online group class for us for a significantly lower rate. She was a great teacher, a nice person, and I learned a lot.

Artists that need more recognition on DA:

An artist with lovely watercolors, but only 47K page-views. Let's give a little love people.

I love her adorable, simple style, and I'm particularly fond of the work she does for The Sims Social. Only 29K page-views?! Unacceptable. And also, Flavia Ceccarelli is an awesome name. She deserves at least 100k more views just for that.
