The man of the Darkness. That Man in the Night. Batman. Thought I'd redesign the dude once again but show him in his late 30's to early 40's this time. Popped a bit of Recon in there.tools> pscs5.1

sweet designs ..you should do more like this ..a grounded batman ..with a kevlar cape to ..a batman that can't fly but uses his cape as a protection tool.i think batman don't need to look like an bat-man ..

I like the addition of the flak jacket, greaves and forearm/hand protection. Gives Bats that "tactical" feeling.
The design might benefit a little from the inclusion of a subtle, understated logo on the chest. Perhaps a little more chunkiness on the cowl too to give a sense that there is some padding up in there.
All-in-all, I like the redesign quite a bit.

Look very close to the Frank Miller "Dark Knight Returns," Batman, one of my favorite designs, but more tactical. I'd think his armor would be more hidden, to add an element of surprise to his opponents as to why their attacks are glancing off, but very good design indeed!

I love this. The touch of "realism" in the design just adds such depth to an already cool character. I know it's not the same style artistically but I got real Frank Miller Dark Knight vibe from this
