Oh!!!! This is really well done. And such a cool concept! As a fellow traditional art student (though at a different univ) I'm going to go ahead and give you a more rigorous critique than I would normally do here. That said I am just learning too.

I really like the way you've rendered this. The folds on the t-shirts look great and completely natural. I think you could bump the contrast up some, but then again that would draw more attention to them, and they are not the focus.

The anatomy is well done as well, and I really like the dinosaurs as well. The shadows look good and really help the figures stand out. The one anatomy portion that looks a little off to me is the right arm and hand of the person on the left (as we are looking at them). The arm just looks a little fuzzy and there seems to be a deep groove in the heel of the hand. That could be a shadow, but the lighting is throwing the shadows onto the wall.
The facial expressions are really well done!

Two other small points. I'm not sure what you want the main focal point to be. The focal point should have the greatest level of detail, right? My eye wants to make the dinosaurs the main focus, but then I am drawn to the faces too. And the level of detail in the left hand of the left person is really high (well done, btw). So I'm thinking that maybe if the contrast levels were a bit higher in the dinosaurs it would help the eye to focus on them. The other thing is that there is a bit of haloing on the bottom portion of their shirts.

Excellent work and I hope you don't mind the detailed analysis. A very enjoyable piece indeed. (BTW, is this a self-portrait??)

First off, I don't mind the long constructive criticism at all, so thank you for it. But anyways, some of the contrast issues were because this is honestly a god-awful picture. To give you an idea how off the quality is, the original drawing is plain white, and doesn't have that olive-green-ish tint to it, haha. But anyways, now that you mention it, I probably could've pushed the darkness of the shadows in the drapery. Unfortunately, as far the anatomy is concerned, I caught the mistake too late in, and didn't have the time to fix it (or motivation after the due date haha).

Anyways, as far as the question about the focal point, I meant for the dinosaurs to edge out the rest of the picture slightly because 1- they're centered 2- with a subtle halo from the lighting to draw attention to them. Unfortunately, the camera caused some of the detail to be lost, which caused a little of the focus to be lost too. But anyways, I always try to make it a point to try to have multiple points of focus. It results in an overall more interesting picture because it makes the viewer move around and focus on multiple parts. In this drawing's case, I wanted the viewer to see the dinosaurs first, then see the emotions in the faces to get a better feel for the mood of the picture.

Last, but not least, thanks a lot for the comment, fav add, and watch. It's really flattering. And by the way, yes, it's a self-portrait. I do them a little more than I'd like because it can be somewhat difficult to find other people willing to pose, haha.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to this. Your points make sense, and photographing a drawing is always a delicate matter. You are right about multiple points of focus, of course. And as for due dates, of course...

As for the watch, I will be interested to see your work progress.
