Kind of a random piece, I wanted to develop the technique I used in my two recent pieces.
I like it. <3
EDIT: I fixed the image a bit with some of the suggestions I got. It looks better imo (sorry for spamming your message centers again *hides*).

Thanks man, I fixed the brown shape like you said. I was being lazy so it doesn't look that good, but it certainly looks better than before.

Ugh, I always mistake monotone for something else. Do you mean that the bg's color is too similar to the rest of the shapes or the contents on the bg are too much the same to the other. I think the first one. :S

a bit of both, just gave it a bland feeling even though there's some reds and oranges. Maybe making it a bit darker or lighter to really bring out the reds
