I love this but it reminds me of a terrible winter event back in 1997 here in Québec. We had a bad ice storm that strucked down a lots of hydro electric pylones that fell down under the enormous weight of the ice. Most of the province was without electricity for almost 3 weeks.

It was awful and scary ! but we managed ! It was amazing though how ice could crush down rows after rows of steel pylones like if they were made of tooth picks !

Many trees got the same faith and streets and sidewalks were iced !

A lot of houses got damaged too.

I love it when it freezes, but that get less and less every year. A pity cause it's really good for me, when it freezes my asthma is troubling me less.
O, and I love ice skating

Your English is wonderful! I can't ice skate so it is lucky for me that it almost never freezes. Though I do love snow days.
