What does "angst" mean... In Danish it means a deep fear. Same in english?

Ah I see - so it is the same as in Danish. "Angst" just seemed like such a Danish word to me - I was surprised to see it used in English meaning the same thing. Well, whatdyaknow I learned something. And merry xmas and all that.
