A taste for thought I know so well.
Are we but just one in the same?
Or do you share my wit, my brain?
What magic do you weave with words,
That can compare to singing birds.
You've awakened, something keen in me,
A bond, intellectual in melody.
How can it be ever so firm?
When it's composed of thoughts alone?
Alas, disjointed by unworldly chasms,
You still give me intellectual orgasms!

Yes, I get that feeling frequently, not just for famous authors, but also for musicians and artists of all eras, including the everyday folk around dA. It's comforting to feel, "Aaah, not really alone afterall."
