And the word was made fleshThen it began to prosper & conquer
The halo shrank & became a crown
Blood turned to wine
(which soon became vomit)
Through a complex series of prayers & cells
How sublime are His creations!
From flesh to bread
We are strengthened by Him
(blessed bathrooms receiving a redeemer daily)
For we're all pious men of God
We revel in the Lord's creation
As we accept him on our banquets
Wonderful is He!
(How tasty he still seems after 2007 years)
"Glory glory to Thee!
For Thou feedeth us
in our time of need"
& I thank the Lord!
"We all hold the breath of God"
& I believe His words!
I want him within me everytime
"Love your brothers"
So I keep them all inside
And they dare accuse me of possession
For never having enough of God

I am very impressed, and quite shocked at your lack of confidence in this piece. The magnitude of your words speak great volumes of an act filled with confliction. Faith is so subjective; we have it not by innate trust, but by the forced teachings of the religion that dominates (and SEGREGATES) our respective lands. You have taken the Eucharist apart by the seams, and I love your perspective on this ritual born of MAN.

I have this "writer's block" that occurs to most writers..so this piece was written to try n overcome it if u get what I mean..
