Hello! I used this watercolour piece as something to replicate in art class with dry pastels, and I was wondering if I could have your permission to post it, as I'm rather pleased with the outcome? I'll link everyone here ofc, I just wanted to post my first attempt at pastels and wanted to make sure I had your permission since it's pretty much the same thing but done with pastels.

Love the lightness of this. Foxes are often depicted as an animal of autumn. This here feels like a light summes salad.

This is very smart, in that the fox really comes into focus in the foreground. You have done a great job in depth by adding great detail to the face, while having a dreamlike fading in the mid and backgrounds. I love your use of green, more greens in your work! The warm tones are lovely.

It is watercolors with some gouache for some of the whites. I really appreciate the comment though!
I'm sure you'll be fine, just keep truckin'! My watercolors were such a freaking mess when I first started. I threw away 90% of the things I painted in the beginning. Just keep trying new surfaces and don't be afraid to get crazy with them!
