Lol okok!
I've already ordered one! Volume 3. But volume 6 is kind of expensive if you add the postage fees~ Why is postage so expensive?!?! The cheapest volume 6 is around NZ$9 but if you add the postage then it's around the same as if I brought it in a shop. Damn! Living in New Zealand is such a poop!

Skitzo-Tree In reply to Cosmicwave [2006-11-17 11:13:38 +0000 UTC]
really? I wouldn't think so...I've always wanted to go there...instead, I'm an american stuck in england...yeah, vol 6 was the most expensive, but it only cost me about 5$...but it was the newest one...now that 7's out, that'll be awhile before it goes down in price...speaking of which...I JUST GOT THE ENGLISH VERSION OF 7 IN THE MAIL THIS MORNING! I'm only halfway through it...it's amazink...
But about getting good deals, sometimes you have to keep trying...that's what I did...i went back a few days later, and the price for 6 had gone down 2$...so yeah...
Postage is expensive...because....*thinks* THE POST OFFICE PEOPLE ARE POOPIE BRAINS!

Hahah well I guess scenery's good in New Zealand..other than that there's really nothing much. It's just a bad place to be if you're into manga and anime and video games *sigh* we always get them really late...and we only have like 3 conventions in total, for the whole of NZ each year..and it's not even anime/manga focused. Just weird Star Trek people...
Ahhh I want Volume 7~ U poopie pants!

Skitzo-Tree In reply to Cosmicwave [2006-11-19 01:13:12 +0000 UTC]
ew...weird star treck people??? that's kinda scary...*hides in hoodie* How do you get anime and manga late? Wouldn't you lot get 'em first, seeing as you're pretty muchsouth o japan? I went to my first anime con in london last week. It was cool....the faun and the bunny were holding hands, but it was still cool...
But I guess I'm just a Ringer at heart. I've been wanting to go to New Zealand since I've seen Lord of the Rings, because it just looked amazing. And besides...don't you guys have the world's tallest bungie jump?
oh, and vol 7? IT ROX! Eury's new...outfit?...is amazing! as is the vampire's castle. That's all I'll say! ^^

Cosmicwave In reply to Skitzo-Tree [2006-11-20 08:08:43 +0000 UTC]
Yea South of Japan...but way too south!! We're half way across the world. And Japan doesn't see New Zealand as popular place. All our manga, games, anime etc are shipped from Australia. with our tiny 4 million population, there isn't much market for manga/anime and games. No one bothers to distribute them here.. *sigh*
O yea the LOTR sets are cool the King Kong ones too~ I have no idea about the tallest bungie...I'm scared of high places lol!

Skitzo-Tree In reply to Cosmicwave [2006-11-20 18:08:09 +0000 UTC]
well, I think that you should make a big deal about it, and get all anime and manga fans to demand more. Then maybe Japan will see that you guys are an excellent market, and POOF! You've got yourself some anime and manga!
oh yeah, I'm good...*coff*
But see, at least you're somewhere you can get SOMETHING! I live in England, but I'm an American, so everything is super expensive..*grumbles* none of the bases in this country even think of selling any volume of a manga I'm reading. I had to go to germany one time to get the right number... granted, I can get it online, but honestly, it's like the military only likes germany or summat!!!

I hope you get to go. If you don't mind rain and cold..you'll love it!

It's not too hard...seriously. I could go to Cambridge. But my school would have to recommend me...and I pretty much found it would be easier to go back home, since my family would be there, then to try to stay in this country by myself...even though I love it to death. But if you really want to go, I'm sure you can get in. No joke. Just look at what they want, and remember to have your school write you a recomendation...Besides, you never know until you try, right???

Wow...are you like a genius or something?
I know my limits, and I'm pretty sure that I'd have a higher chance of becoming a Olympic Gold Medalist in Judo!! And let me just add that I'm a very weak person! I'd get snapped in half like a twig if I ever did Judo!!
Not to mention that it'd to helluva expensive! Though, I think my parents would be glad to pay if I got in
I'm a pessimist so...yeah...my selfconfidence is very very low

Skitzo-Tree In reply to Cosmicwave [2006-12-01 13:14:36 +0000 UTC]
heh, I wish I was a genius. If I was, I woulda passed anatomy last quarter with at least a b, not a c-. But then again, I didn't even study for anything...*shrugs*...Besides, they're not entirely interested in grades. They like well rounded people. So maybe you should go into judo. See, I've just been everywhere - it seems - and try to do everything...which is stupid, let me tell you...so see, no genius here!
I'm not a pessimist, per say, but I do put myself down a lot, or so I'm told. But I just don't think I can do things very well...*shrugs*
If you really wanna go to Cambridge or Oxford, or some other school over here I can't think of off the top of my head, you should really look in to it. You'd be surprised.

Hhaha yea I might just try! Not expecting anything though~
I'm anything but all-rounded!! I think I'm tone-deaf and I don't do anything musical except listening to music. I can't sing for crap. And my sporting ability isn't that good~ I have bad co-ordination and apparently, I look like a monkey when I play tennis!!
Anatomy..? What level at you studying at right now??

Skitzo-Tree In reply to Cosmicwave [2006-12-02 19:06:50 +0000 UTC]
oh, just high school level...I guess. *shrugs* I'm only a junior. Ah, I'm tone deaf at times to...I hate the way I sound when I sing. which is why i didn't do choir after eighth grade (it was that or rotc)...but i've been playing my flute since I was 9. I do the english version of outward bound, and I LOVE soccer...but i look ridiculous when I run...and when I attempt to be a decent goalie...
But well rounded doesn't reffer to something you're good at. just the fact that you do different things. I do a lot of things, from girl scouts, to community service. They look at that. So see???

Skitzo-Tree In reply to Cosmicwave [2006-12-07 12:49:56 +0000 UTC]
not nesessarily...(i can't spell!!!)...each college and university is different. there are some that don't even bother with sat...so *shrugs*...I think most brit schools are okay with sats...since we continue schooling longer then they do, since they can, if they choose, go to uni after 16, or they could go on to 6th form...it all depends...and what's IB?

well, I'm kinda bent on going to florida now, even tho...a year ago, I was bent on staying in this country.
