Description
Another Pinkie Pie deviation where the Element of Laughter shows off a helium balloon she got from whom many within the MLP fandom consider a descendant of Pinkie Pie: The pegasus known as Surprise. You may not notice it but I drew this entire deviation using the Digital Watercolor function in Corel Painter 6.
Fun fact: when Lauren Faust was developing My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic she actually wanted to use the character Surprise to be part of the Mane 6 but apparently the company Hasbro lost the rights to Surprise's name so Faust decided to use Pinkie Pie instead. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll draw Surprise as a single character or as part of an entire drawing of the Generation 1 characters.
