If possible, the Rangers (my name for the 10 characters in the group) don't have to go to the manor the entire time they're at Atlas.
Just bring Ironwood up to speed, maybe upgrade their weapons, train a little at the military base, fight Salem's forces and plan a trip to either Vacuo or the dark continent.
