The helmet turned on as Lillie stared ahead blankly. Her body continued to warp as her mind grew simpler. Higher thought became increasingly difficult, leaving only base urges. She could never be a functional team admin like this, but expanding their ranks was never really the goal of Team Rocket. The goal was vengeance against the other trainer, the onlooker witnessing her friend rapidly lose her dignity along with the mental capacity to even care.
Selene was horrified at seeing a real person be reduced to this parody of a human right in front of her, all the moreso for her friend being the victim.
"Ah... Selene..." the lustful zombie of a husk that used to be Lillie uttered, then approached her.
Her teary response, "yes, it's me."
Lillie, now free from her restraints as she posed no more threat, sat down next to Selene and pressed herself to her, absentmindedly saying, "I like you."
"Yeah... I like you, too," she managed to respond. Still bound at her wrists and neck, all Selene could do was lean her head on the friend she felt like she lost. The loss the champion felt, the grief for someone who hadn't died, was the goal of Team Rocket.
