Her tentacles and misshapen body symbolize what the man cannot see, and what he only wants to see.
He is wearing a jesters hat, (my brother is always a jokester) but it also represents foolishness and credulous.

The flame lighting the cigarette symbolizes their bonding whether it be friendship or something much more. However she always has something up her sleeve, or in this case, behind her back. It represents suspicion or mistrust.

I really hope you guys like this, I was actually going to throw this away, but I spent an hour on it, so I decided to upload it for future reference.
