Yay, something not gory. But it does lead up to gore. I might draw the next scene of this, him ripping into a yummy buck.Prismas and ink. I think I'm getting better at this whole colouring thing don't you? tried burninshing, and trying to get the fur and grass textures. If you could let me know how to improve that would be great
And as always, let me know what's wrong with it

what do you mean rushing? everything here is prisma except the white, as I'm broke and have no prisma white. The only part I think I rushed on the colouring would be the sky. I coloured the fur as the fur would be. tiny strokes going the direction of the hair. I was looking on the internet, and found that this is the wrong app. for burnishing. You use it if you want to get a shine, or mettalic look. The artists eye is something I do unintentionally sometimes when I'm dead tired. (like now) I really appreciate the comment though.

Yes you have progressed to a degree. Are you loosing patience with your pencils?? Trying to get it all done in one quick sweep? Because Crayola is not the brand for you if so.. they make large colored pencils meant to cover big areas in a small time.
Hold your pencil and try to be calm with it, then lightly color in slight, small strokes and do the coloring SLOWLY. Then, if it is too light, do it again in another direction. What may help is to try to add some layers where you attempt to make the fur look... and then color over it again and you'll still slightly see your strokes, but only do "patches" of this fur or you will make your anthro messy. But yes, the burnishing is working better..
Now learn patience with your strokes because I once colored like that too, and it just takes a deep breath and a lot of time on your hands. There is also something that I call the "artist eye" where you sort of phaze out as you color and sort of half ass watched your coloring come together. This can help you keep an eye on your progress and see how you are putting it together without getting you too frustrated at how slow it is taking you to color sometimes because I know how that can become .o:
I hope it helps... and if you don't understand the "artist eye" thing, don't worry... I think I'm just nuts sometimes anyways.
