Robin always wished to make his mark on the world; that’s what he wished for everyone. While studying to be a professor, Robin noticed something very strange: the Granbull he’d had since childhood was no longer immune to Ghost attacks. When he brought this up, people said that of course it wasn’t, Granbull’s a pure-Fairy type. Robin had never even heard of this type and yet for some reason everyone else did. He decided to study Pokémon types, but the damage to his reputation was done. His peers thought he was insane, his wife left him, and his son wanted nothing to do with him. Robin threw himself into his work as a professor, Fairy-type expert, gym leader, Elite Four member, and later on a grandfather. He never completely fixed his reputation or his relationship with Petrus . But watching the next generation succeed makes him think that maybe the Fairy-types came to this world for a reason. He got his wish after all, didn’t he?
Professor Elder gives you your starter Pokémon in the Biriganing Town, neighboring Foolsburgh. In Fright and Epic, he is a member of the Elite Four. In Wish, he is the final gym leader and helps you find Drellammirg.
