I've lately gotten to the commissions of my first wave of clients. Here was one of their requests. The person didn't specify what I should make, but did want to make sure it was something I would like to draw. I then suggested monsters, and from there it went. SwampThing is one of my favorite DC characters as well as Horror Monster, mainly due to being drawn by his twisted creator, Bernie Wrightson. There's something with his brushwork that unsettles me, but in a good way. Now, off to the next one!
