My friend SanadaOokami introduced me to the latest incarnation of the My Little Pony cartoons a couple of years ago. I have to say I was taken by what they have done with it. I had to try making some of the wonderful new characters, but the question became how. I cannot make the amazing sculptures that she does so I took to my crochet needle. I gathered a few pictures from the internet and set myself the challenge of creating.

This is a popular pose for Applejack. Done in double crochet, as is my default stitch, it was a bit of luck that I found a picture of her with her hat on. It was not as challenging to change the colors as it was making the Discord throw, but it was just as fun to watch the yarns develop into Applejack. I have not yet been able to turn this one into a throw, but I will replace the picture when I do.
