Description
My newest named stitchpunk. (Much like Hollows who makes an appearance in this set: [link] )Trouble was created around the same time as the other eight named stitchpunks, but unlike seven of those eight, he didn't get a final-ish look. (Gee, sounds like some other stitchpunk I know... *CoughTreasure!CoughCough!*)
Anyway, Trouble here went through four phases before his final design was found.
First Phase: "The Bird-Head"
This was the start of it all. Tall, skinny, bird-headed beings seems to my thing this year. (Just as orange rabbits were my thing last year. Don't ask.)
The original idea was that Trouble was to be well, rather mad, but in the good-Mad-Hatter-kind-of mad.
Whether this is the case in the end is now uncertain.
Second Phase: "The Fish-Head"
This one was more influenced by miss Acrosanti's designs.
With an oddly cased optic taking over the front of the face, and a watch for the back of the head. (Which had a stationary optic in the center where the watches hands used to be.)
In this one, I felt that I was trespassing in Acrosanti's style, ultimately making me feel like I was stealing.
So, meaningless to say, this idea was scraped for I wouldn't never get comfortable with that seed in my mind.
(This phase also makes a special appearance of one of my first stitchpunk OCs: 345. Which I have gotten used to referring him as "Fish-Head")
Third Phase: "The Norm"
Reason for lame title: there wasn't enough space for a better one.
This was a very minor idea that didn't get past a minute, but because of this particular phase, I realized there was nothing wrong with the first phase, thus helping me to the final design.
Fourth Phase: "The Final Return"
This is where I came full circle.
Sometimes, it's best to not second guess yourself, but the time did help me find my direction for Trouble's final design.
Apparently, during the time, Trouble developed a crush with Hollows... Much to her displeasure...
