What I love about creatiffy is the clean linework and the care into making the characters, it's rare to find something like this that doesn't look like a copy of another artist, for me that's a plus e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="
As far as I can see the anatomy is spot on even if it's cartoon-like. What I love about this picture (aside from the pretty mouse XD), is the use of the lighting and even the composition. The whole image has a dramatic tension thanks to the Dutch Angle (tilting the camera onto an angle) coupled with the chiaroscuro style lighting. The heavy shading gives the character some real weight and even adds a bit of Noir style atmosphere.
The atmosphere as well as the expression, seem to hint at something that's happening in private, hence the lighting seems appropriate. My only gripe is that the eyes appear a bit flat in this instance. The iris isn't flat against the eye, but rather slopes slightly back. By adding a darker shadow near the edge of the iris and at the edges of the eyeball, it would give them shape. Otherwise, I feel that the image overall doesn't suffer as a result of it.
Overall it's a impactful image filled with tension and interesting poses, whcih is the kind of quality I look forward to from creatiffy's works.
