Description Just decided to share some of my paintings/art here.  I did this painting because of my love of shoes and these ruby shoes do not get more iconic.  This painting was done using acrylic paints (different colors), acrylic ruby sparkling paint & black fabric marker.  I hope that you all will like this painting/art piece I am choosing to share with you all

Dorothy's shoes from the Wizard of Oz was my first thought when I saw these!  

You are very talented and I hope you have a pair of these in your wardrobe!

Thanks so much   I have always loved her shoes & that was my inspiration for this painting.  This is actually the center piece in one of my bathrooms that is all decorated with mini shoes.  I have a mini pair of her shoes in that bathroom as well as a Christmas tree ornament of them too.

It sounds like you have a very unique bathroom! Which is good-I know how bland apartment buildings can be if we don't exert our individuality.

    Ruby slippers? not Dorothy's from "The Wizard Of Oz" that was the feeling I got when I saw this one.

Thanks   That was my goal.  I love those shoes.  My bathroom is all decorated in miniature shoes & this painting is the center piece.

We have 2 bathrooms.  The one off the bedroom is the one decorated like that.  I like to think I made it less boring then all that white (we live in an apartment and are not allowed to paint and everything is white or pale gray that is almost white.  So boring in my opinion so I decorate it with are and other things).  It has a long makeup counter and storage space under it and the sink area (which are one long counter).  I have storage containers & boxes that are decorate with shoes in what would otherwise be just wasted space.  I like to put my own uniqueness or spin on pretty much everything.

Yes I know most apartments are your basic white so you have to dress up the walls and all to make it look better.
