Description
This is an experiment along the lines of [link] I did previously. I sort of came up with this piece on the fly while working on another sci fi background... which is somewhat connected to a comic/series I'm thinking of doing here.

The background is actually part of the second sci fi background I've been working on, which has a mad science tube basis.

I played around with the perspective tool and this time around applied a texture to her eyes. I have been doing a lot of work with the perspective tools and textures ... which is an important step as it is helping me improve on things a bit.

The effect is a human robot/cyborg not a fully robotized person, some how circuitry just doesn't fit my vision of this mad sciencey concept...

As many of my watchers and friends know, I do a lot of work on the skin ... this represents 6 layers. I have been using a filter with GIMP that helps normalize/smooth things out a bit further after I do my standard techniques... and I like it.

Revision note, the original just turned out pale so I adjusted a layer I use for blending... to bring the colors back to light
