Description
Beverly had wandered into the basement of the Whitten building at the University, quite by accident, looking for her class. She found something quite different but she really didn't get to far ... now she is finding her outlook adjusted ... it was alien... its purpose unknown, but it was encroaching on Earth... and spreading... she could hear the consciousness talking to her in her head, the voice was silky, so convincing... she couldn't resist... she didn't know what her fate or new role would be... she was slowly being corrupted ... she knew that ... but she accepted ...***
Playing with this as a comic series or what not might be more epic on a level of a graphic novel along with the Antares series I'll post some images for this week...Β

I went back to review the references I asked the artist to use.Β Primarily, she used two previous pictures from the same series, different artists: Invasion of the Body Snatcher I and Invasion of the Body Snatchers II

Yeah, I used to watch that artist but I had to cut back on a lot of them. I wasn't worried about these pictures except as a reference to an idea I am playing around with. I was trying to find out what plant-pod models that creativeguy59 used in his picture so that I could hopefully use it in a render for my own idea.

I use a few different ones, which one is that as I don't recognize it?
In my case I've used Through the Looking Glass it was on rendo not sure it still is. I have also spliced pieces together from plants and done some stem textures, positioned flowers. I have done trees as well either by splicing or using sets for dryads ... I would have to track them down. Trees I've used bark from vendors or made my own bark textures...Β
Really I've done a lot of types not a large quantity of them as of yet but I imagine I will be as I want to experiment a bit eventually in consolidating all the concepts into a single runtime.

The model you used for the pod she is in? I think that would work for the leg-encasement. Just curious as to if you can figure out where I can get it. Otherwise I've done some other plant-girl type things - some I haven't yet published. Your flower-girls are what drew me to your gallery.

That is V4 I haven't yet migrated to g2f in poser yet or worked with daz all that much to deal with the material room there... its a little less featured than poser (well understatement) ... that and figuring out the lighting in daz has been interesting

Yeah I started trying to figure out the new DAZ and the Genesis figures some months back. The hardest thing for me with lighting is remembering to turn the Headlamp off of the camera's. Though there's a lot to learn with iRay features that I still haven't figured out.
For instance I've been working on Jedi renders and trying to figure out how the new "ambient" replacement settings work in iRay to produce convincing Lightsaber blade effects. I still haven't quite got the hang of it.

www.daz3d.com/organix-cocoon is the main one I got it a long time ago from runtimedna but it's on daz after they got purchased.
The rest I think is a mix of stuff I kitbashed from davo tentacle sets and some others but can't tell as puter is down.

Yeah, spent too much time learning that one the hard way. I don't have my own family so all I have/had is my parents, g'parents, and half-siblings, most of whom have passed on and the rest I don't really know how to contact.

Well, my definition of family is broader I must admit. It comes from my captivity in the foster care system for my formative years ... You have the family your born to, or adopted into, and then the family you chose for yourself IMHO. You seem like a good type of person to know so get your butt on Discord

Nearly all of my aunts and uncles have passed, and I have almost no contact with my half-siblings. I have a half brother and sister on my dad's side that I haven't seen since dad's funeral 25 years ago, nobody has any idea how to reach them. I have 3 half brothers on my mom's side and the youngest lives in the family home and the others are scattered across the country - no idea how to reach anyone but the youngest. I used to keep up with my foster parents but that slipped a long time ago and I never really made any friends with my other foster-siblings: I wasn't a druggie like them so they had no point-of-contact with me other than being in foster care together. I once had several friends I'd known for many years but all of them have drifted off and broken contact. So all I have is newer friends. And as a gamer-geek most of those are people I game with. I'm currently trapped in a situation where I have to decide if I'm going to stay friends with the players in a game I've been part of for around 6-8 years - while I'm butting heads with the GM over unfair rules. I've reached a point where the only way I can sanely proceed is to drop the game - and all the friends. I would have normally counted most of my older friends as "family" but the ones that mattered to me most have dumped me for various reasons.
