Description
Another experiment where I was practicing with more morphing techniques. Again I was using GIMP iWarp, layer masks, cloning, etc. I need to perfect some techniques with these tools but I am gaining proficiency.Related content

Nice job on her webbed hands! Wish your other frog girls and mermaids had that cool feature. It would be cool to see her with webbed toes, too!

Well that was a photo manipulation. Though I do have some frog stuff I haven't put up here for the 3d side... meaning some frog like parts ... I haven't gotten around to using them though or post working webbing Thanks!

For me, this was so so. Looks like a quick rubber stamp and smudge tool job from my experience with Adobe. Which is fine if you are in a rush to show a rough idea of what you were making.
So here's a couple of pointers (if you are up for them). From her groin to the top of the sternum (you can include just the inside half of the breast, or all of them), I would have used a white layer with some subtle shadow tones, and on the edges, add a real frog's belly features softly with the rubber stamp. The fingers could use some more "accents" by use of the burn and dodge tools. Also, on YouTube, there is a tutorial for making tattoos to appear to "wrap" naturally on skin. You can do this when you apply the texture, but be warned, you are in for one tedious evening.
In Photoshop, if you save a jpeg of a texture to a PSD, you can use the texture option to color (the gal up there) green with color balance (after you used the lasso tool) then add the texture. Just remember, you wanna invert scales, like snake scales and scutes (belly scales used for snakes, but sometimes ki rin or lizards) but for frogs you wanna go the opposite. Also keeping the intensity subtle can add to the illusion of how natural it looks on your subject.
Take care!

Thanks for the feedback and tips. I've been busy in RL but plan on working again on these concepts so tips are always welcome
