Description With a little mental readjustment, a touch of latex, and presto... the beauties will be ready for sale

This is for he has a few stories on mermaids and latex go check them out ... meant to post this sooner but I've been having a not so fun real life of late... I didn't improve this much from the draft I sent him... but I will revisit it as time permits I suspect.

Yeah it could be an interesting challenge ... if I had more skill and a willing model I might try it for fun of it

I be like doing the body paint for an Orion Slave Girl or a Twi'lekΒ  ,Β  look good but a lot of work and time setting up

creativeguy59 In reply to kenham1 [2013-09-12 11:18:12 +0000 UTC]

Yeah body paint can be a real pain I suspect Sounds like you get all the fun though

kenham1 In reply to creativeguy59 [2013-09-12 17:08:57 +0000 UTC]

Newer paint you can use sponges to apply larger areas,Β  but still brush or airbrush for details;Β  it would have to be a specialty item or scene, since it would take so long to set up.Β Β

Yeah, that makes sense. Alas I do not have those opportunities but in the 3d and 2d worlds I often wondered how useful liquid latex would be for something like this... but I can't even imagine how much work that would be still.

kenham1 In reply to creativeguy59 [2013-09-12 21:57:21 +0000 UTC]

Liquid latex would be ideal for costume like that,Β  since it has a bit of a shiny look ,Β  and you could blend it together with prop tail and such Β Β Β  Again, it would be a lot of work but it would look really cool.Β  All you need is sufficient quantity of latex in the colours you want and a willing model Β Β  Bit of work needed and you have to make sure hair is not an issue since removing it while not hard,Β  well will pull on things like that. Like any advanced makeup,Β  it just take practice and time

Thanks
I really wish I knew a professional makeup artist,Β  some of the elaborate costume looks in jungle perils would be very interesting Β Β  Although from what I do know myself,Β  liquid latex is basically goof proof,Β  even minor errors such as splatters could look good depending on things

Someday perhaps I'll have to just play in the 3d world and leave the cooler stuff to folks like you

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kenham1 In reply to creativeguy59 [2013-09-14 05:06:27 +0000 UTC]

Yeah but you can do some stuff thats hard to do live,Β  and getting models is easier

creativeguy59 In reply to kenham1 [2013-09-14 14:30:37 +0000 UTC]

True. I'm working making the renders more realistic looking as well, slowly but surely... and the reason I moved out of photo manipulations was exactly for these reasons.... Β

no genetic modification for them then?

No, latex dollification is a much better way to become a mermaid (doll).

creativeguy59 In reply to sailorrob [2013-09-08 22:07:40 +0000 UTC]

There might be a bit of that in there as well... figure they may need gills but I hadn't really thought to far ahead on it... more 's concept than mine ... Maybe I'll do a variation or two

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

sailorrob In reply to creativeguy59 [2013-09-08 22:24:12 +0000 UTC]

it like it this way but there is something about making the change on a genetic level. More permanent ^_^

Yep. I like that as well. I'm not done with mermaids so might do another along those lines
