Interesting notice: the first centaur depiction found in ancient Greece (forgot the name of the civilation. I ain't no Indiana Jones) were like this, with human front legs and horsey hind legs.

I have come across a few images (on Greek pottery of all things ) of centaurs with human front legs and equine hind legs.

The image linked has human forelegs with hooves, a slight variation on the theme.
Sadly I haven't seen any Greek pottery adorned with fennec foxes.
