Mark Acheson is a Canadian actor and voice actor, born on September 19, 1957.

Throughout his career, Acheson has mainly taken on roles that were incredibly minor compared to those he’d costar with. Examples of this comes from when he starred as the Mailroom Guy in “Elf”, which starred Will Ferrell in the title role, and a homeless guy in “Hot Rod”, which starred Andy Samberg in the lead role.

However, his most notable role by far was when he voiced Lord Tirek in “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”. He made his debut as the character in Season 4’s “Twilight’s Kingdom”, returned to the part in Season 8’s “School Raze”, and then had a greater recurring presence in the show’s ninth and final season. In addition, he also took on a variety of other voice roles, often being cast to play villains, such as Sabretooth in Marvel Animation’s “Hulk Vs. Wolverine”, and Unicron in some anime adaptions of the Transformers franchise.
